Jeffrey S. Gabriel, Jr. is Legislative Counsel for the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the nation’s leading recreational marine industry trade association.   He returned to NMMA in March 2009 to help bring a sense of stability and to add an additional hand to the association during a time of great economic crisis and upheaval, particularly for the boating industry.  After nearly two decades as a Government Relations professional he has gained a valuable perspective on the nature and process of our federal system of government, and how it affects the lives of citizens on a daily basis.

Jeff was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and was raised in the surrounding suburb of South Abington Township by his loving and devoted parents, Suzanne and Jeff Gabriel, Sr.  Jeff learned at a very early age to appreciate the sporting life.  His most treasured lessons were that of chasing whitetail deer, rabbits, and grouse in the woods and fields near his home as well as the satisfying unimportance of fishing a whole bunch of inconsequential lakes and ponds in Northeastern Pennsylvania; the journey continues.

Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from La Salle University; a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University; and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University.  He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.  A devoted family man, he lives in Arlington Virginia with his beautiful wife, Noemi.
